Hi everyone! Several of us from Highlands Church as well as 15 dental professionals have the privilege of being the hands and feet of God down in Uganda in October. We will be working alongside The Gem Foundation, an incredible organization that houses and cares for orphaned (abandoned, neglected and abused) children with special needs. Our team will be coming alongside their staff in the following ways: Dental care Special Needs training Biblical teaching Ongoing Kampala community outreach Though my background is not in dentistry but in teaching, I'll be assisting the physicians as needed while also overseeing the logistics for the team. I'm asking for your prayerful support as our group fundraises for this mission. The goal amount will cover my transportation, food and housing. And any amount raised beyond that will go towards The Gem Foundation. Finally, please pray for safe travels as well as God to move amongst the men and women in Africa through our team.
