Update: 7/6/23 My mom will be moved to hospice on Saturday. The surgery they’d perform is a longshot and if she made it out it would be months of painful rehab and most likely a worse quality of life than she already had. She’s loved in a hospital bed in their living room for 4 years with her legs constricted living in discomfort. The best place for her is to be in heaven to be whole again. This money will cover cremation along with anything my dad needs for his own treatment of stage 4 cancer. I thank you all and I’ll miss my hero but I know once she’s gone I have my guardian Angel. Hello, my name is Kevin Fuhrer and I’m raising money to help my mom and dad with their hospital bills along with other expenses they may have come along. I just want to share my mom and dads story with everyone as they are the epitome of fighters and true love. (Also my dad does not want me to do this for them as he does not like handouts but I’m simply going to deposit whatever is raised into his account) my mom has had a life that we would not wish on our worst enemy. She’s been beaten, slept on floors, dropped out of school due to not having shoes to go. She had me then proceeded to have 3 miscarriages, in 1995 she got Multiple Sclerosis, in 2014 she got breast cancer. In 2019 she finally was bed ridden with the MS. Also because she was a stay at home mom to take care of me she never gotten a penny of disability in her life from the MS. Through all of this she never lost her spirit and joy. My dad worked constantly to make sure she was taken care of and I had all I needed. In 2024 or so he also got stage 4 bladder cancer so he retired to focus on health. He currently cares for her while having his own treatments week after week. I just want to do what I can to help ease any burden on them along with help pay for better at home care.
