Hello to those who are reading this. My name is Cynthia Turner, Cyn for short. I'm IT for a company as well as a concept artist and illustrator for a living. I've been working in IT for 3+ years and more than 15 years as a freelance artist. My side hobbies are playing games, being a foodie, traveling and doing voice acting roles for my best friend. Art has been my passion for the longest time and has been one of my best forms of expression. It's the same with my current job as it makes me happy to help out those who need help. The reason why I'm opening a LFEBridge is because I have been diagnosed with Adenomyosis. Adenomyosis is a condition that causes endometrial tissue in the lining of the uterus to grow into the muscular wall of the uterus. Symptoms are painful heavy periods, chronic pain in the pelvis, bleeding between periods as well as pain during intimacy. I've had these symptoms since I was 19 years old. I've tried several different treatments such as hormone medications, birth control as well as anti-inflammatory drugs. So far nothing has worked and I'm still in pain. Nothing has changed other than the control of the menstrual cycle. I'm now taking 10-15 naprosyn (Aleve) daily to keep the pain at bay. The pain is at a point where it impedes my daily life. I'm unable to function as a normal person with all the pain. It has incapacitated me for almost 20 years now. I've gone through 7 different gynecologists before finally coming to one that has correctly diagnosed me. The only other treatment left is to get a hysterectomy to remove the uterus. With my insurance included, it will cost me between 7,000-8,000 dollars as the surgical coordinator stated to me. This also includes the doctor appointments for pre/post-surgery as well as a bioidentical hormone replacement therapy that I need for low hormone levels causing ongoing issues such as sleep issues, hot flashes, mood swings and so on. I am unable to come up with that money in such a short time as the date for the surgery is October 24th, 2024. I will be out of work for two weeks afterward. The company I work for will be able to help me cover the days off with either paid vacation or short-term disability. Any help will be appreciated as I'm unable to take any more commissions at this time to help fund it. Once I get the bill, I will show it as proof of the money received here will be made to. I don't make this a habit, but I need as much help as I can get. I appreciate those who took the time to read this. If unable to help, spreading the word will do me wonders. Thank you for your time.
