Hi my name is Makor Makor I am a young man that was admitted to theRoyal Prince Alfred Hospital when I was 17 years old in September 20th 2013. I was diagnosed with osteosarcoma and while I was in RPA I underwent chemotherapy for 10 months. I also got radiation therapy and several hip replacement related surgeries. Due to malpractice my hip replaced broke within 2 months after the surgery.As a consequence, I got a bone infection that became chronic and for the last 14 months I have had surgeries to wash the wound and other procedures done but they have all been unsuccessful.After all these failed surgeries my health has deteriorated. The Dr’s now want to take out all the screws and what is left of my hip. Due to distrust I’ve since discharged myself from the RPA.At the moment the alternatives recommended by these doctors do not look so good for me. They do not want to replace my broken prosthesis and the options are to live without a hip and amputate my leg.I am very worried because I have two opened wounds, osteomyelitis and not good alternatives. I am trying to eat healthy (organic food and herbs), taking the antibiotics and painkillers and looking for solutions for my problem. It also seems that according to my most recent scans I’ve had a very average hip replacement surgery poorly done. Which became a complex of hip surgery’s which led to all the complications.Luckily there was a surgeon by the name of Dr Munjed Al Muderis who I spoke with and may take my case. He says unfortunately he has seen cases like mine and that he would be able to help me.The procedures I need to be done have to be done soon. My family and I are trying to raise money for these procedures I would really love and appreciate your help.All the money being donated is being used for treatment purposes.The medical cost of the surgery the surgeon estimates is 150k and I will need private health insurance. What’s most important that I get the previous surgery’s screws and hardware removed. Then they can save my life by treating my chronic infection that would cost an estimate of 25k.
