For years Shannon has struggled with a kidney issue that has reached the point of needing surgery. It’s a serious, complicated surgery that involves moving the ureter and artery and comes with an extended recovery time. Needless to say, it will be a very expensive surgery and recovery that far exceeds any insurance coverage. As a small business owner, the business depends on her, and there is a physical and mental cost of her not being there. She has selflessly put her needs aside to make sure the business survives and her staff is taken care of.
