Hi! We are Carl and Hannah St George and Nicholas Bowen is part of our “Tribe” and an invaluable team member at our jujitsu academy here in Fairbanks. I’m not sure where to start in describing Nic. He is one of our BJJ and Boxing instructors. He is a good friend and a great father. He is a very giving & loving man, who has been actively involved in our Fairbanks community for years. He has such a big heart and always willing to help anyone and everyone who may need support or a helping hand. Recently Nic was required to undergo an extensive neck surgery. He had three bulging discs, one of which had compressed 90% of his spinal cord. Another had fractured, and bone fragments were wedged into his spine. The surgery was a huge success and he had been largely pain free since! However it will be a very long recovery and rehabilitation process for him. It will be approximately a year before he can return to his normal day job. 100% of all proceeds will go directly to Nic, and will help cover his extensive medical costs, and loss of income due to this injury. We greatly appreciate any amount given, and no amount is too small. Thank you in advance for supporting our amazing friend and encouraging him during this difficult time in his life❤️
