Dear friends, It is with utmost humility and sincere gratitude that I reach out to you today. My name is Mike Reyna, and I find myself in a position where I must seek your financial support. The journey of the past several years has been filled with both humbling and challenging health events, leading me to this point of reaching out for assistance. In 2024, I was faced with the discovery of 70%-80% calcified mid LAD small vessel disease, which required an emergency procedure involving a rotablator and the placement of a stent. As if that wasn't enough, towards the end of that year, I was struck with HSV keratitis, an infection of the cornea, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of vision in my right eye in 2024. These physical and mental trials have tested me in ways I could have never imagined. I experienced fatigue, frequent bleeding and bruising, loss of appetite, nausea, swelling in my legs, feet, and ankles, weight loss, and persistent itchy skin. In July of 2024, a liver biopsy confirmed Steatohepatitis with moderate activity, specifically Brunt Grade 2, Stage 2. Eight months later, a CT scan revealed the development of new cirrhosis, shifting my diagnosis from Stage 2 fibrosis to Grade 2, Stage 4 full Cirrhosis in less than a year. An early May liver biopsy confirmed the presence of Cirrhosis with Steatosis and mild to moderate portal inflammation. This condition, known as non-alcoholic fatty tissue disease (NASH), requires regular scans every six months to monitor my liver. At this moment, I am focused on managing my treatment and prefer not to discuss the possibility of a liver transplant, as there are still other issues we are addressing. The freezing of my hands, painful cramps in my legs, and gastric problems, which have had a significant impact on my ability to eat, have also taken a toll on my dental health. Despite these challenges, I am determined to continue dedicating myself to my Mortgage Origination business, assisting clients in realizing their dreams of homeownership. It is my passion and what brings me joy. While I do have medical insurance, the expenses for prescriptions and treatments not covered by my insurance have accumulated significantly. I fully understand that these times are difficult for everyone, and I am deeply grateful for any support or donations that you might be able to provide. Please know that every contribution, no matter how small, will be received with immense appreciation. From the bottom of my heart, I thank you for considering my request and for your unwavering support. As I navigate this challenging journey, I place my faith in a higher power and fervently pray for miracles of healing, allowing me to resume my ministries at the hospital, continue my work with the Armor of God coins, and fulfill my other volunteer commitments. Once again, thank you so much for your generosity and kindness. With heartfelt gratitude, Mike
