Hey there. My name is Anthony, I go by TJ. I have been getting sick, frequently for the last two years. This has resulted in me losing three jobs and culminated most recently with me passing out at work, then two days later doing the same while in the shower. My blood work at the hospital looked fine. The attending has told me that at this point, the issue is likely my heart and that I need to see a cardiologist. I have tried applying for medicaid through the state to no avail. They will not give it to me as I am "able-bodied" and "able to work". As well, "free clinics" and the like do not seem to exist in my area unless you have medicaid through the state. With the frequency that I have been getting sick, and now the probable heart issue I am at a point where I have been out of work sick, more than I have been there. I am at risk of losing my new job. Which is a good one. I need to see a cardiologist out of pocket and have two tests done. Both of which are a couple of thousand dollars out of pocket. I am out of money, very frequently sick, and out of options so I am turning here. If you can, and are willing to donate wonderful. If you can not, I certainly understand not having money. A share would go a long way too. Ultimately, I just want to last long enough at my job to get good insurance and to live long enough to see my daughter grow up and the longer I go without this care from a specialist the less likely that looks. This money is going directly to either the doctors visits, or maintaning the bills I have fallen behind on due to being out of work. It will also go to seeing a physical therapist for my back, after the fall I took in the shower. I consider this to be a long shot, but as stated, I am out of options.
