Hi, my name is Lalena and I’m fundraising for Kevin Grabowski, my significant other. He was in a motorcycle accident during the 100th Laconia Bike Week this year. He shattered both wrists and broke his femur. He was air lifted, has endured several surgeries and will need continued care to get his mobility back. In order to come home many medical items, home modifications and self care items needed to be purchased and installed . A ramp to enter the house, wheel chair, walker, biddet, toilet lift and shower head with extension and seat. Despite the numerous plates, pins and rod he is starting to move around with assistance. He has started to feed himself and get around with a walker. So far he has made great strides and we are all proud of what he’s accomplished. As you can imagine, the ambulance ride and airlift along with 3 weeks in the hospital and continued physical therapy, we are extremely concerned of the medical bills rolling in and how to continue paying them. The road to recovery will be a long one. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for our family, friends, and neighbors who have purchased some of these items, visited and have donated their time to assist with chores around the the property.
