Hello, I am Rudi’s mother and making this on her behalf. In June, Rudi found a large mass in her right breast. She didn't think too much of it at the time, thinking it may go away or be something hormonal. A month has passed since its appearance and she started to notice that her breast was becoming deformed. She quickly made an appointment (Jul. 24th) with an OB/GYN who suspected it may be something more serious and recommended more tests. The next day she had an appointment with XRANM Breast Health and Imaging to undergo a mammogram and ultrasound. Those came up "highly suspicious." A few days later she had multiple biopsies taken. While going through this trying time, things have gone smoothly for the most part. That is until she was informed by her insurance that they decided to decline all her procedures including very urgent upcoming ones. Her next step is supposed to be an MRI, to determine the severity of the mass and have a consultation with a breast cancer surgeon. Both of which are scheduled on August 7th to review final results as well as her future surgery and treatments. Rudi has thought long and hard about crowdfunding, not wanting to ask for help, but things have been completely taken out of her hands at this point and she feels defeated. Her medical bills are quickly adding up and she is in need of having these tumors/mass removed as soon as possible. We want to give her the opportunity to fight this medical issue by trying all options before even thinking of giving up. She is very embarrassed to ask for help, but at this point she had no other option. We also appreciate each and everyone of you for even taking the time to read this.
