Hello! “I am Mark Dailey’s sister.” That’s how I always introduced myself as a kid (and even now) because I have always been so proud to be his sister. And if anyone knows my brother, you know why that’s true. Mark has spent his entire career helping others. As a paramedic, including flight paramedic and instructor, the number of lives he has touched and ultimately saved is countless. Now he needs our help. A couple years ago, Mark was diagnosed with kidney cancer resulting in its removal. He has had scans every 6 months since then and everything has been clear except the one he had last month. The cancer has returned and this time, in his liver. His surgery is scheduled August 9. We understand that due to where the tumor is located, the recovery could take 2-3 months. Because of this Mark was unable to start his new job in a local hospital ER and now unable to work altogether until he has recovered from the surgery. As a result he is forced to pay privately for insurance and medical bills not covered which prompted the idea of a fund raiser. Mark is not one to ask for help. That is why I decided to post.
