We are raising money for Marsha Toovey, a devoted wife and loving mother of 3 children. Marsha has always been one to quietly help others who are in need! She loves to be outdoors, especially horseback riding and is committed to her family, work, and church. Our goal is to give Marsha the peace of mind to recover her physical body and not to worry about her immediate financial obligations in the coming months of recovery. Although Marsha has benefits and an understanding employer, the medical expenses and financial pressures are going to be ongoing and impact her and her family greatly. On Thanksgiving weekend Marsha was seriously injured in a horseback riding accident, fracturing the C2 vertebrae in her neck.It was a miracle that help was close by and we are so grateful her husband Jason was home and able to use his medical training to stabilize her and seek immediate medical attention. Marsha was transported to North Battleford, then Saskatoon for immediate care. The doctors were able to immobilize the fracture and are working to help her manage the extreme pain.Marsha is currently at home with a full neck brace, limited mobility, and persistent pain. Marsha will continue to be monitored by the Neurosurgery department in Saskatoon as the fracture is immobilized, monitored, and a treatment plan is developed. We are praying that the C2 vertebrae will begin to heal naturally and that invasive procedures will not be necessary.Marsha’s recovery will last for at least 6 months and Jason is taking time off work to tend to her needs, transport her to appointments and maintain the home and activity routines of their children.Marsha and her family have a long road ahead of them. Although that road will bring frustrations and heartache, they are hopeful it will be filled with love, hope, determination and goodness. We believe Marsha will fully recover because of the incredible people in her life, amazing medical care, and the faithfulness of her Savior Jesus Christ who is her greatest support. We sincerely appreciate your donation to help Marsha, her family and their mounting needs. Please keep Marsha and her family in your prayers. THANK YOU ON BEHALF OF MARSHA AND HER FAMILY! Lovingly, Tim, Angela, Rebekah and Alandra
