Hi, some of you know that my mother was diagnosed with leukemia (chronic and blast) back in September. Most of you that don’t no leukemia works in phases not stages it’s goes chronic, accelerated, or blast. When she found out she was immediately taken out of work and undergoing treatment. Not only was she fighting for her life but she also was in heart failure, her spine was the size of a baby, she’s anemic and her body had fluid all over making her swelling badly. She was put in the hospital for a month to try to get things under control. Before she left the hospital she had to be put to sleep to get a port in her chest because once she left she would have to go through much more treatments. She had to get chemo and radiation and is put on more than 15 pills a day. Her doctor found a treatment to get her on her way to remission! She had to be on a 28 day chemo bag to start killing all of her cells then A couple months ago she was put in the hospital for a little more than a month to get a stem cell transplant. She is currently out of the hospital still getting spinal so they can see if the donors cells are working. She got fired from her job in this time and is not allowed to be at work or around people because she’s still building her immunity up the doctors saying sometime next year she would be-able to work again. You know the bills don’t stop because your sick the hospital bills are outrageous and still coming! Honestly Anything helps and anything we appreciate ❤️
