She is currently in her early 20s. At the time this LFEBridge is posted, Maisie is currently undergoing her fourth hospitalization within the past year alone to undergo an additional series of life-saving procedures. Maisie is currently living paycheck to paycheck, and missing an overwhelming amount of work due to illness has put her in a serious amount of debt, putting her at risk for eviction, which has contributed significantly to her stress. Stress aggravates her chronic condition, leading to further treatment and missing work, resulting in an uncomfortable cycle of debt and health issues. Your donations will help Maisie: 1. Stay safely housed while receiving the treatment she needs. Maisie does not have the option of moving in with her family, thus being left with nowhere to go if she cannot pay rent. 2. If enough help is received, she'll be able to make progress toward paying off the medical debt she's acquired throughout the past decade. Though she's been able to chip away at it with the help of previous donations, consistent hospital admissions continue to add to the overwhelming bill.
