As most of you know, Lilly was diagnosed with pulmonary hyper tension (PH) in 2024. Since this time she has had complications and her disease continues to progress. Lilly is currently at home and her condition is stable enough to keep her there. Her medical team is concerned that progression will reach a point that they have limited options left. Following the advice and guidance of her providers at Boston Children’s hospital Lilly will be placed on the lung transplant list. Within the coming weeks/months with the hopes of a life saving donor, Lilly will be undergoing a double lung transplant. Leading up to this Lilly will be required to go to Boston for pre-surgical testing. After surgery, without any complications, her medical team is estimating that recovery time in the hospital to be 6-8 weeks. After this, the year following surgery Lilly will need to be closely cared for and will be the most vulnerable. In support of Katie, Greg, Lilly, and Bella: We are raising money as a family to reduce the financial burden. This money will be used specifically for their mortgage payments and other necessary monthly bills. The mortgage payment is $1175 per month. Many people have asked us to start this go fund me and for this amount to donate one months mortgage. This journey will be incredibly long but Lilly’s quality of life will significantly improve. Mostly importantly, please keep the family, hopeful donor and the donors family in your prayers. Lilly is a brave, strong, and incredibly resilient young woman. No 14 year old little girl should have to experience this. Luckily, God has equipped her and her family with everything she needs to fight this. #lungsforlillybug
