I am a friend of The Chappell's. They are an amazing family who show love to everyone they meet! On Tuesday, Mike went to the Willis Knighton emergency room for a severe headache he was having. After examination they found a large mass through his brain in his occipital lobe. Dr's have ran tests and discussed what they will be doing to help him. They have decided the best course of action is to go in and remove as much of this mass as safely as possible. Because of the location of the mass, vision impairment is a possible side effect during surgery that is of the highest risk. This procedure is scheduled for Friday morning at 7:30. It will be performed by Dr. Guthikonda.While Mike is in the hospital he is of course incurring medical bills. His wife and daughter, Ashley are going to be right by his side. They will not be working during this time. We have decided to set up this account to try and ease the burden of expense for them. It's enough stress to worry about a precious family member when they are sick. They shouldn't have to worry about bill also.
