Hi, Ray & I would like to start this fundraiser for Jenna. She was diagnosed with Stage 4 Colorectal Cancer on Nov 4th 2024. She had a colonoscopy November 1st 2024 because of pain she was having in her tailbone and blood in her stool.. and was diagnosed November 4th with Stage 4 Colorectal Cancer. November 7th she met her colorectal specialist, then November 8th she got her port placed. In December she did 25 rounds of 5FU chemo and 25 rounds of radiation. Then in May she started Oxaliplatin infusion chemo that she did once every 3 weeks along with chemo pills so they would cross over her liver. That was 8 pills daily for 2 weeks, get a week break then repeat. She did that for 3 months. Shes had 4 MRIs, 3 CT scans, and 5 biopsies, and 1 PET scan since her diagnosis. She will have radiation on her liver next, then her ostomy reversal, and surgery to remove the scar tissue on her tailbone along with the cancer cells they’ve found. She recently had her main tumor removed and there are still 9 of 22 lymph nodes positive for cancer. In January, her employer let her department go This resulted in her losing not only her job but her life insurance and retirement, dental and vision insurance. Because she has been diagnosed with cancer now, not many of any insurance companies will touch her case to give her life insurance due to a pre existing condition. Even through battling this all, Jenna has still been the strongest and best Mama to her 6 yr old daughter. She needs our help y’all! She still has daily living expenses, medical bills coming in and raising her beautiful daughter.
