Dear family and friends,As many of you know, I'm pursuing my MBA at SMU in Dallas. This is my second and last year of study. I applied for the Disney Institute program that SMU has partnered with Disney to provide select students a unique opportunity to undergo an organizational management training at Disney World, happening January 2-7, 2016. With this 5-day training, I would have a chance to immerse myself into Disney’s culture of excellence and great customer service to learn how it creates, manages, and sustains that culture so successfully. It tirelessly brings joy to so many people, including myself, with its magic. Since childhood, I've always loved what Disney represents. The Disney Institute will not only ennrich my MBA experience, but also fullfill a life-long dream of being a part of the Disney magic. I am among a handful of students that have been awarded scholarship to attend this program. However, the scholarship, even though generous, only covers the program fee ($2,800). I'm responsible for covering an estimated $1,500 which includes airfare, hotel accomodation, meals, and Disney park admission. Currently I don't have the ability to pay the $1,500 that is due in December 2015. After careful consideration, I have decided to ask for your help because I wouldn't want to miss this amazing opportunity. I would be very thankful for your support to make this trip happen.
