Hello FamAs many of your already know, for several years now, the L-rd has been convicting our family to become engaged in full time ministry. As believers we read words like "If anyone wants to come with Me, he must deny himself, take up his cross daily, and follow Me," and have asked in prayer that we would be faithful to that calling... that He would MAKE us faithful to that calling.We have been presented with, what we believe is, an answer to that prayer. Very soon Apologia, is going to be planting a church in Kauai, an island that our very small body of believers is uniquely equipped to reach. Today this tiny paradise is riddled with cults (see pics), drug and alcohol addiction, along with a failing education system, all needs that we are passionate about meeting.In January several families will be taking an initial trip to survey the island, look for places to live, and do some outreach. All pride aside, we are inviting our family and friends to join with us through prayer and/or financial contribution for this trip. I know that it sounds crazy...it sure did to us. But it has become a real burden, that wont leave us alone. Our prayer is that the L-rd would claim all the people on the island as His own, and that He would use us in the process. Soli Deo Gloria
