Hi everyone, this is Terry Guido, I've never written a LFEBridge page. But, I've never felt more personally strong in support of my good friend, Lisa's story. We met through a mutual friend and connected through dogs and PTSD therapies, giving me more information about my own PTSD. We have an incredible opportunity to support someone dear to me, who is in need of our help. My friend, Lisa Kim, has decided to undergo a life-changing breast reduction surgery, and we have the chance to make a significant difference in her life. The surgery is scheduled for September and I'm hoping we can reach our goal of $10,000 to help her. Throughout her life, has faced numerous challenges due to her disproportionately large breasts. The physical and emotional toll has been overwhelming, from dealing with harassment during her teenage years to experiencing ongoing discomfort and limitations in her daily life. Lisa also battles severe asthma, making it difficult for her to engage in physical activities. To cope with the strain, she must wear multiple bras for support, which hinders her ability to breathe properly. Finding suitable undergarments and clothing has become a constant struggle. Her size (38FF or G) is rarely available in stores, and the ones she does find come with a hefty price tag of $50 to $80. Bathing suits are equally challenging, causing self-consciousness and limiting her enjoyment of water activities. The weight of her breasts has caused shoulder divots and misalignment of her vertebrae, leading to ongoing visits to physical therapy and chiropractors. As a single parent to her special needs children, Lisa has faced additional hardships. Balancing full-time work with limited benefits and advocating for her children without financial support from her ex-partner has been incredibly tough. Now, at the age of 61, Lisa has made the courageous decision to undergo breast reduction surgery. The surgery is scheduled for September and I'm hoping we can meet the financial goal. Her surgeon has offered a 12-month payment plan, but she still needs our support to cover her portion, which amounts to $10,000. By donating to this cause, we can help Lisa not only participate in physical activities without compromising her health but also provide financial relief from medical costs leading up to and through her surgery compromising her health. Perhaps most importantly, let's offer Lisa the opportunity to focus on living a more fruitful and enjoyable life. Lisa is a true example of one who is of service to others. She is a huge proponent of working with rescue animals and helps transports them from point A to point B, in addition to fostering them.
