Hello My Name is Heather Vorm and I am trying to raise money for my mother Linda Vorm. About two months ago my mother had an issue where she was unable to talk. We rushed her to the emergency room where they thought she had a cluster of blood vessels in her brain that were causing bleeding and seizures. The doctor had her do an MRI and CT scan. They ended up finding out that she had a large brain tumor that was growing. They did their best to remove some of the tumor but unfortunately with brain tumors you can never remove the whole thing. We waited about a week and a half for doctors to let us know if the tumor was cancerous or benign. They came back and told us that the tumor my mother had was Grade IV Brain Cancer. Our family was and has been devastated ever since hearing of the news. My mother is starting Chemo Therapy and Radiation Treatment soon. My parents are both Retired and do not have the funds to be able to cover all of the medical bills. My mother will be on Medicare come May and her treatments will be $3000 every time she goes in. The doctors are requiring that she come in once a week to have the treatments done. We have no idea how we will be able to cover this on top of all of the medications she needs to take and the speech therapy she is going through as a result of the biopsy. Bills are already piling up and the additional bills will be too much for my family to afford. I can't imagine not having my mother around right now. I am getting married and would love nothing more than to have her be a part of my wedding. The thought of her not being around for the day I wed my future husband or being a part of children being born into our lives is a thought I hate to even fathom. Our family would appreciate all the help we can get. We ask that you give anything you can so that we have a chance in saving my mother's life. Thank you to everyone willing to help!!
