EDIT** The date has been set! On December 26th, 2024 I will be having gender affirming surgery and crossing a major mile stone in my transition journey. There are still quite a few things I will need in order to be prepared for this surgery and the downtown it takes. The money used will cover parts of my surgery that insurance didn't and the after care supplies needed. Thank you all for your support, I couldn't have done it with you. Hi my name is Lincoln! I live in Washington state with my partner. I’m currently a full time student working on my k-8 education degree with a minor in Special Education.  Having grown up in Oklahoma, I was the only queer and out person in my entire school through the day I graduated. I have faced discrimination, hatred, bigotry, and I prevailed. I survived, met the love of my life, moved across the country, and came out for a second time.  Since coming out I have done everything in my power to help my community Through nonprofit volunteer work, speaking up for those who cannot, and trying to create and maintain a place where the LGBTQ can not only survive, but thrive as themselves.  I am a very proud and visible trans person. Even without the language of knowing what it was I was experiencing, I have always known that the body I lived in wasn’t right for me. I have carried this chest for years not feeling like it belongs to me. It’s a weight that I want to be rid of so that I can feel like I’m completely and authentically myself. This surgery is more than aesthetic, it’s a part of my journey towards a healthy, happy, me.  I officially have received a date for my top surgery consultation, May 13th 2024. I need to raise enough funds for around that time so that I can put payment down before getting my surgery scheduled. This is something I’ve been working forwards for a long time and any amount helps. I would be eternally grateful for anything that could contribute to the overall cost of the surgery and the downtown afterwards. If you can’t donate, sharing is also very helpful. Thank you so much!
