Hello! My name is Lily and I am a 20 year old trans girl who just wants to feel comfortable in my body. ~~It has recently come to my attention that hair removal is not considered “medically necessary” for the procedure (bullsh*t). As a result, the total out of pocket will be far more than I initially anticipated.~~ ** UPDATE: We are fighting insurance to cover it as it is required by Washington state law in accordance with WPATH standards of care, so i am optimistic we will get this sorted out. regardless, my surgeon is out-of-network so it will still be a hefty total. **Any and all donations would be greatly appreciated <3Let’s start with $5000! The overall cost may be way more than that (because of the previously mentioned hair removal) but i am really grateful for any and all help.i’ve also been struggling with mental health issues and disabilities that make it difficult to work, and thus i am struggling to feel hopeful that i will be able to save up enough money for such a massive surgery.
