Please join me in this fundraiser to support my sister in law, Christy Cozad and her family. All funds raised will go directly to the Cozad family. For many years, Christy and Jon have supported their daughter Kaely through significant medical and mental health challenges. Since 2024, she has been hospitalized more than a dozen times in Oklahoma, Florida, Texas, and Massachusetts. Her hospitalizations have ranged from several days to treatment programs that are 6, 8 or even 12 weeks long. As you can see, her parents continue to seek out medical and mental healthcare for their young adult daughter. They have invested a very large amount of their resources, including their retirement savings towards her treatment. Sadly, a significant portion of the costs associated with the necessary treatment are not covered by insurance. As Kaely's aunt, I'm hoping we can join together to assist this family to get through this difficult time. I know so many of you can relate to the broken system that exists today to support mental health and the stigma attached to it.
