September 25, 2015 was to be a special day for Dave "Colin" Harris and his family of four. He, his wife and daughter were on their way to the Oath  Ceremony to become U.S. Citizens, a dream come true. However, they never made it to their destination.  They were in a multi-vehicle accident. Dave, along with his 11 month old daughter Harper, would end up comatose in the ICU, both with head trauma to the right side.  Fortunately, by the mercy of  God, both would survive the accident. His 3 year old son, Liam was with a relative at the time of the accident. Now a month later, Dave being the sole provider for his family has a long road ahead and countless expenses.  We are hoping that he may return to being the person he once was, loving dad, IT consultant, and the most kind and helpful person you could meet.  If you ever had the opportunity to meet Dave, you would understand the great loss that happened.  He volunteers his time and skills to aid his church, friends and family.  Joycelyn, his wife, although had minor injuries, is now tasked with the weight of the financial and coordinating responsibilities of taking care of her disabled husband, recovering now 12 month old and their preschooler.  The bills keep mounting, apart from regular living expenses, they have an extensive amount of medical bills associated with both Dave's and Harper's brain surgery.  He is living in a rehab facility some distance from home making it impossible for his wife to seek  employment.  Your donations will help provide transportation and pay their medical bills. Please help this family through these life changing events  while they look to rebuild their lives.See link of accident below.http://www.nbcconnecticut.com/news/local/Police-to-Close-I-91-South-in-Meriden-329556251.html
