For the past two years, Bryan has been fighting his battle of recovery from a horrific motorcycle accident as many of you already know. He’s had many surgeries, and still to this day has more to make him thrive. Most recently he had to undergo another leg surgery because it’s not healing properly and had an infection that had to be removed. The doctors had to remove 2 inches of bone and now one leg is shorter than the other. He was on the road to recovery when the doctor said he was okay to use his leg and put pressure only to find out this was not true, and the leg broke on him when he did so. He’s been admitted to the hospital again to undergo yet another surgery to place a rod in (which should have been done the last time, but the screws broke off and the doctor claims he was not able to do so). We're all hoping this time will be the final surgery and he can truly heal and get back to some type of his new normal life. On top of his accident, he has faced many other challenges. He’s suffered the great loss of his grandmother which whom he was extremely close with. This was just another completely devastating event that occurred and caused great trauma to Bryan. On top of losing his grandmother, this has forced his family to sell the house he was living in causing Bryan to be homeless. Bryan has been living out of motel rooms on his own recovering from his accident and is facing many physical and emotional trauma. Bryan is severely depressed, to say the least. I think anyone that has gone through even half of what he has would be in the same situation would feel the same. Bryan also lost another close member of the family this year which has not helped his situation. Zoey his beloved dog whom he’s had for 12 years passed adding to his long list of agony and distress. Bryan has been fighting with lawyers to be approved for disability because he obviously cannot work in his condition. His last claim has been denied and is currently appealing his case. Sadly, he’s even having to fight for disability when it’s clear it’s NEEDED. He has no income and cannot work. Bryan continues his best to try and stay strong for his daughter Olivia. He’s decided to move to North Carolina to be with family after he’s released from the hospital. It’s been the most extremely hardest decision for him because moving means leaving his daughter Olivia behind. He realizes at this point in his life that he needs help not only physically but mentally. Healing himself will be the best thing not only for him but for his daughter. Olivia means the world to him so healing himself is the best thing for them both. Bryan is in an extremely delicate part of his life and would never ask on his own for help. So here I am. Asking for him. Bryan is in extreme financial debt in medical bills and credit card debt since he has no source of income and has been fighting to stay in California to be with his daughter. Let’s come together to help Bryan as he would any of us. We all know he’s the most caring and helpful guy. Any help to him is appreciated.
