Dear friends, fellow mountain biking enthusiasts, and all those who know and love Barbara, Barbara is the matriarch of our local mountain biking community, always extending a helping hand and spreading happiness wherever she goes. Her passion for mountain biking has ignited our trails with her boundless energy and unwavering dedication. Over the past 8 years, Barbara has immersed herself in the world of mountain biking, forming an incredible circle of like-minded friends and continually honing her skills through workshops and sessions. She's an inspiration to newcomers, willingly sharing her knowledge and offering guidance to all who seek it. We've seen her triumph over challenges, turning them into opportunities for growth. However, life sometimes presents unforeseen hurdles, and Barbara is currently facing one of the toughest battles of her life. In March, she received the news of breast cancer, and since then, she has demonstrated an astounding strength of spirit. In the face of adversity, she underwent a double mastectomy, and now, she's navigating through intensive chemotherapy with unwavering positivity and courage. While she focuses on her medical journey, we want to do our part to support her and ensure that she can return to the very thing that brings her joy and fulfillment—mountain biking. We've witnessed her passion and dedication firsthand, and we believe that an E-Bike will be a tremendous asset on her road to recovery & long term fulfilment in life. With an E-Bike, Barbara can maintain her active lifestyle and stay connected to the mountain bike community she cherishes. It will offer her an extra boost of assistance, making it easier for her to get back on the trails once she's through with her treatment.
