The current refugee crisis accross Europe at the moment is horrendous, but particularly striking over the last few days is the mounting pressure and tension in Lesvos, Greece - I've lost count of the number of messages I've seen on social media written by volunteers on the ground; pleading for more volunteers, donations of basic sanitary items, food, clothes, tents and waterproof ponchos etc.I'm travelling to Lesvos on the 4th November to volunteer for a week - my plan is to spend the money I raise here in Lesvos on basic, much needed items such as nappies, blankets, food etc. The more money I raise, the more people I can help. Simple as that.
