To all our Family & Friends, This Go Fund Me page was made in effort to help my sister-in-law Lesha and her family through this difficult time. Lesha was diagnosed with severe mitral stenosis and regurgitation, 3 vessels coronary artery disease with a 70% blockage a few days ago. Because of the blockage, her blood cannot properly flow in and out of her heart. Blood typically flows through, but her heart has to work twice as hard since blood flows backward in her body. She has been fatigued, uncomfortable, and short of breath. Although she can get treatment; specifically, a triple bypass open heart surgery. This intensive heart surgery requires a recovery time of 3-4 months. She is currently working part-time to care for her little one, Lacen. Even with a part-time job, it was a source of income that won't be able to support her during her road to recovery. Aaron (spouse) has taken time away from work to help her with appointments, check-ups, follow-ups, and any testing that needs to be done. Although this surgery was urgently required, it was scheduled on short notice. There will not be enough paid time off available for Aaron to support his family during her procedure and recovery process. Asking for help is not something that is easy, but through this difficult time, we humbly ask you all for your continued prayers, love, support, & any donations that would be greatly appreciated to help with my sister-in-law's medical expenses.
