Hi, House of Gold here (Chelsi’s workplace) As a lot of you are aware Monday 3rd July we received the devastating news that the doctors had found a tumour in Leighton’s spine. The positive news is that the tumour is treatable and Leighton will begin receiving chemotherapy hopefully from Monday 10th July. We are hoping the tumour can be treated completely with chemotherapy and radiotherapy because due to its complex positioning surgery may not be an option. I have decided to do this fundraiser with the permission of the family because both Leighton’s parents, Chelsi & Jake are both self employed and will be out of work for some time now and relying on reserve funds. No parent should ever have to go through the pain of watching their child go through such illness and treatment and I therefore want to ensure that finances are not an issue and the very least of there worries. I’ve had tonnes of messages on how you guys can help out and although once this is all over I know Jake and Chelsi want to do a huge fundraiser for the hospital I wanted to this for them personally. All donations will go towards the everyday costs the family are now facing such as, car parking charges, takeaways, games for Leighton and of course the bills at home that still need paying ❤️
