Hey y’all! We have decided to take this form of action regarding our Immigration funds. We feel like this is a good way of reaching all our family and friends since we all live in different places. We feel like this is one of our last options because of the time sensitive nature of our situation. We met just by happenstance and our relationship has taken us on a most unexpected journey. Over the last four years we have been through an endless cycle of transitional periods and feel like it’s time to be able to live together in the same country with equal rights and opportunity ahead of us. To have gotten even where we are right now has taken an enormous amount of patience, struggle and financial debt. We know this action is the most important step we can take in our lives together and are in need of help to get there. This next payment is pivotal and means that our Adjustment of Status for Tina’s Immigration case will be filed with the government. Tina will not get her workers permit until this has been filed so the need for speed is crucial. We feel stuck at this juncture due to our extremely limited income and trying to establish a proper budget for accomplishing this has been soul crushing. The importance of getting this payment out of the way means we can finally get the medical treatment we have been putting on the back burner for too long. Pierre spent a long time in Canada without receiving medical care for his head cysts. He has needed to get them out for years but due to his U.S citizenship, no insurance and the inability to travel back to the states at the time, he has had to cope with their presence and irritation. His rheumatoid arthritis and carpal tunnel is progressing more intensely, sometimes his hand movements are very limited after long hours and as it gets colder outside. Tina suffers from PTSD and generalized anxiety disorder, so having access to better resources/counselling will only be beneficial in her healing process. Moo Cow has a small bump on his back that has been looked at by a vet at the end of may. We were told it was not immediately dire to have removed but should be monitored and taken off eventually. These are all important issues and the fact that we can’t even begin to address them hinders us as a family. When we are able to make this payment our whole world and relationship will change. We need to move forward to the next chapter in our lives and stop feeling so weighed down by these legalities. We want to be able to travel back to B.C and see all our family and friends sooner than later and this would only speed up the process.. We also really want to start a family in the next couple of years but at this point that seems too far out of reach to even start trying. We are very appreciate of all the kindness and positivity we have received from everyone, Anything you are able to contribute to help us move on, would mean the world to us. (seriously)Love you all,Pierre,Tina, Moo Cow And Sloppy.
