Dear Family and Friends, I hope and pray you are all in good health and good spirits. Life has been coming at us hard. We need to stay bright and positive. We are all dealing with our struggles and challenges, therefore, we must all stick together in unity, solidarity and with love. As you all know my struggle financially has been one rocky road for me. Some of my choices have not been the best in this aspect. Dedicating my life to animal welfare yet rewarding, has left me very vulnerable. I live day by day. Paycheck to paycheck. No savings account. Just grateful for my health and optimism. I recently had a career change, or should I say a comeback. I have taken my love and passion for fitness and turned it into my career. Hopefully, my last one. I have had to pay for numerous certifications, and license fees, of course on my credit card. But, I am confident I will surely pay up my debt. Last month I decided to undergo LASEK monovision surgery so I can eliminate the need for reading glass. Given that I am no longer young, and we live in an ageist world, with my new career as a fitness coach, I wanted NO disadvantages over younger coaches or instructors. Being able to read without readers has been a game changer. The surgery cost me $1,500.00. See bill below. I will be needing to correct my other eye so I can gain better vision from afar as well, I will have much better vision all around. And have more clear and safer vision. This will be an additional $1,500. Since this surgery is also going on my care credit card, I have decided to create a GO FUND ME in honor of my past birthday August 13th, hoping you can donate and help get this surgery done. Any donation big or small is a huge help. I will be forever grateful for any donation you can make, and I am sure i will be able to sleep better sleep at night knowing that my credit will be alleviated with your help. I have NEVER asked for help on personal matters but, there is always a first, and this one is for my eyesight, and having better vision. I am grateful you took the time to read and consider this.
