For those who do and do not know us, my mother had a stroke back in late December of 2024. Tragedy struck the family again and they are currently without an income. I am posting this on behalf of my Stepfather, Larry Osburne, and the entirety of the Osburne household and we are asking for your donations for lost wages, groceries, rent, health insurance, and bills. The Story: Since my mom’s stroke in Dec 2024, she has been unable to work. She has been staying as active as possible but is still experiencing complications post-surgery that usually require her to be on many IV antibiotics daily. Currently, she is off the IV Antibiotics and able to take them orally! Sheri is receiving Medicaid but is still waiting on disability benefits…This has left Larry, her husband, to be the only person working a steady job. My Aunt Deb had been taking on the role of caregiver 5 days a week but has had to stop doing so for her health, recently. Larry Osburne was rushed to the ER by Ambulance on May 21st, 2024, after experiencing confusion, vertigo, nausea, and trouble with coordination/walking. His blood pressure was very high before the ambulance got there and went to the hospital for a stroke that occurred at the back of the neck. They performed a CT scan, MRI and monitored him overnight in the ICU. A Cerebellar Stroke was confirmed. As of 5/25/23, he was unable to walk on his own. Rehab was the next step. He was in rehab for 2 weeks before coming home. Since rehab, he has been able to walk much better and his dizziness has subsided over time, but he is still out of work and there are still talks of surgery to clear out clogged arteries. This would place Larry out of work during that time and without wages again depending on when it is scheduled. Larry’s most immediate need is dental care. His face is swollen, and he needs 3 teeth pulled which will cost $450 total, for all 3.
