Our friend Larry Jernigin is an amazing man. He is a devoted follower of Jesus. He is a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He would gladly give you the shirt off his back, no questions asked. He would stand up and fight for any one of his family or friends and never ask for anything in return. For over 5 years, Larry has been battling multiple medical complications, one seemingly right after the other. Heart attacks, multiple organ failures, multiple hernia repairs and failures, kidney failures, surgical complications, dying on the table multiple times, and lung cancer. Larry hasn't let any of this slow him down and he continued to push through and continue working as much as physically possible so that he could provide for and support his family. Over the last year it has gotten more difficult for Larry to work and he has been homebound for much of that time. Dena has picked up many different jobs to help supplement the loss of income and help pay off the endless medical bills that continue to pile up. She has even sold off much of their possessions, short of their home and vehicles. As of right now, Larry is in a medically induced coma following an extensive surgery. The situation frequently changes between the Doctors believing he is progressing and doing great, and they are beginning to worry now. They do believe that he will continue to be in a medically induced coma for the next week. As many of you know, the Jernigin's would never ask anyone for help. They just pray for God to continue to Bless their family with the love they have, the roof over their heads and the health of each other. Family, friends, co-workers, and neighbors; we ask for you to please consider donating anything you can to this wonderful family.
