Hi everyone, some of you who are close friends to my family know what has been going on with my mom. For those who don’t here’s the story. My mom Kymxverlee Garcia has been in the hospital since May 30 in the country of Colombia. She’s been in and out of the icu but mostly in. She is battling a major infection in her intestines and now it’s traveling into her bloodstream. None of us expected any of this and has hit us all in the worst way. My mom lies on the hospital bed with an open stomach literally with a machine on her intestines to help pump the infection. They are unable to close her until it is 100% gone. She is on and off of dialysis to clean her blood of toxins and excess water due to her extreme swelling and onset of sepsis. she is on the strongest antibiotics there is, she’s been on and off of support with a respirator and medication for blood pressure. She has undergone more than 10 surgeries to help get rid of this unfortunately deadly infection. I as her daughter and only family available to be here 24/7 have taken the role to be by her side and do everything I can. I’m not able to work or secure any income, I have support from family but are reaching out to you all for help financially. This fundraiser is to help pay for the medical bill and other costs that is now exceeding $100k, and it’s not over yet. After all is said and done she will need to go through extensive physical therapy projected to be a year worth. There is so many things that we need to do and anything would be appreciated. If you know my mom she has done everything for everyone with the huge heart she has. She puts everyone first and it’s time to do the same for her in this crucial time of need.
