As most of you know our friend Kristen Lizana has been through a lot over the last few months. We have posted very little about her circumstances since her surgery, at her request. Kristen needs time: to heal, process and navigate through all the emotions now. We are reaching out to you today with a heavy heart to share some news regarding our dear friend, Kristen. Recently, she received a devastating diagnosis of cervical cancer, which required major surgery to remove the affected areas. As if that wasn't enough to bear, tragedy struck once again when Kristen's beloved mother unexpectedly passed away while she was still in the hospital recovering from her surgery. These trying circumstances have thrust Kristen into an unimaginable storm of emotional and physical challenges. It is a time of immense sorrow, uncertainty, and financial strain. As her close friends, we are doing everything we can to provide support, but the magnitude of the situation is beyond our means alone. That is why we are humbly reaching out to you today, hoping to stir your generosity and kind-heartedness during this extremely difficult time.
