Hello, my name is Kristan Button…some only know me by simply Button. I have been caring for my mother for well over 7 years, in some capacity however as of this past year she has needed full time care. With the diagnosis of squamous cell carcinoma in December, surgery January 4th, and the discovery that the cancer had metastasized soon after. She was in radiation treatment however events of June 4th, a fall that broke her left hip and a hip replacement on the 5th, she had to put radiation on hold. She is finally home again after a stay in a rehabilitation facility. She is mobile with at least 50% assistance. We hope to get her back into radiation therapy ASAP. Unfortunately I have not been able to work, as a result of my full time caregiver job, which I am blessed to be able to do. The funds raised will be for day to day expenses, medical bills, respite care, and all the unforeseen costs that come with her care. I appreciate each and every one of you that have reached out and for those that continue to do so!
