We are raising funds for Kim and her family. She was diagnosed with a rare disease called Moyamoya. Moyamoya is a rare condition in which the blood vessels (internal carotid arteries) that supply blood to the brain become narrowed. This limits the flow of blood to the brain, and puts them at risk for stroke. Kim had several stokes before she was diagnosed. They did a surgery on her brain to fix the blood flow. While in the surgery Kim had a few more strokes. The doctors said it was a possibility but, they were hoping it would not happen. Unfortunately it did. It was a risk that they had to take to save Kim's life. Kim and Paul have two wonderful boys. Paul has been at Kim's side as much as the hospital will allow. Which means that neither Kim or Paul have been able to work. The road to recovery is going to be long and hard! They will have several medical bills, household bills, along with raising the boys. If you know Kim and Paul personally, you know they are always willing to help other people if they can. It's time for us to step up and help them.
