Hello my name is Anita and I have been lucky enough to know my beautiful best friend Joanne for four decades now. As some may know and some may be unsure this year Joanne was diagnosed with Stage 4 Grade 3 advanced cervical cancer. A diagnosis that has shook Joanne's family, extended family and friends to the core. As many of us often are stunned on receiving news on this level, Joanne for those that may not know her has a driving ability to rise and a determination to defeat and in the long term to destroy this terrible diagnosis. Joanne has had her forth Chemo session to date. Over the last few months Joanne is and has been remarkably strong and courageous but as with any illness of this level attacking the body every day is and will be a very tough battle for the foreseeable future. Over the the next few weeks we will be waiting on hopefully an update of positive results. Moreover we have decided to set up LFEBridge to help in ways we can help her on her rough journey to health. Some of the things that can weigh extra burden in a hard time can be somewhat alleviated through a collective help and support between many who are willing or feel they would like to help that little bit extra. This contribution will help with such things that may arise such as costs on current medical treatments, long term compulsory dietary plans, any trips needed for alternative medical treatments in event of changes that may or may not occur during or after current treatments, to name a few of the many extra financial costs and stresses that could effect Joanne and her family. We would like you're help to help them with any unforeseen burdens or financial strains that could impact Joanne and her loved ones. So step up, if you can, give a little or give a lot, any amount in support of our dear friend is graciously appreciated.
