Hey everybody! My name is Brook Townsend. I was just recently diagnosed with stage 3 colorectal cancer. I’m 26 years old and it was obviously a huge surprise to me and my family. I’ve already started an aggressive chemo treatment that will last for the next 2 months. Then after that I will be doing more chemo and radiation before I have surgery to get a colostomy bag. My doctors are predicting it could be up to 12 months before im able to work again. Because of the chemo im not able to work and that has caused a huge burden on not only me but my family as well. I’ve been encouraged to create one of these by my friends. I’ve taken recommendations from friends and family for financial assistance which I was told could take a year to be approved. Im just trying to do everything I can to stay afloat at this point. Any donation will be greatly appreciated. The money will go to helping me pay my bills and I have full intentions of returning to work as soon as I can. Thank you to everybody who has already been praying for me.
