Hi there I'd like to take a minute to introduce ourselves to you, My name is Adah Dunn, some of you may or may not have seen us around whyalla before. Steven Hugo is my loving partner and father to our children, he was born and raised in whyalla. I was born in Port pirie and raised in cleve and moved to Whyalla in 2010 We met each other and fell in love in 2014, I met Steven through my job, I was his parents carer! We have 3 Beautiful children together. Keyani 7yrs old, Tucker 5yrs old and Hannah 3yrs old. I'm writing to you all to say thankyou from the bottom of our hearts. We'd just like to extend a very warm thankyou to each and every person that has taken the time to, send a message, call, keep us in their thoughts and prayers, and donate during this absolutely heartbreaking and unpredictable time in our lives. This is not an easy journey and it's only just begun. We've had to adjust our life's ever so quickly in the past couple of weeks. Just to give people an insight as to how the money raised from these beautiful souls will be used are as follows: medication, fuel, food, travel to and from whyalla, rent, etc, I know it doesn't seem like much, but to us when we're not able to work, it's huge! While you read this you might be taking your children to school, sports match, weekend away, soaking up the sun, enjoying a Sunday drive, walking along the beach, play date with friends and families, motorbike riding, reading your book or just relqxing in the comforts of your own home. The things that we are going to miss over the course of the next long months/years. Please take a moment make yourself aware of what neuroblastoma cancer is. Keyanis tumor is attached to her left kidney, at the moment it is 17cm. She has started chemo, and is accepting it like a boss. She does get tired very fast, so we are being super patient with her. We have set out plans and goals around what we need to do, she has 8 rounds of chemotherapy, then we're looking at surgery. Never in our lives did we ever think we would be in this heartbreaking situation for the next 18 + months, you've got this keyani!! Fight hard our beautiful little lady. Her fight is going to be long and draining on not only her but us as a family aswell. We really do appreciate all the love and support from near and far. I would also like to say, please don't be offended if we take a while to reply, update or keep in touch. Please know we may even read a message and just forget to respond, but it doesn't go un noticed. Your support will never go unnoticed. Hi my name is Adah and I am fundraising for our daughter Keyani who was diagnosed with neuroblastoma cancer on the 9th July 2024 and now we have had our first round of chemo treatment we now have to be close to the woman's and children's Hospital so if anything changes!
