Hello Everyone, I am putting together a Go Fund Me for my family as my youngest brother and his wife, my sister-in-law and dear friend, are needing financial help. The reason for this fundraiser is surrounding the news of their soon new addition to their family. They are about to have their 4th child and the doctors informed them that their baby would be born with multiple heart defects. On June 13th, 2024, they saw the heart specialist to discuss the heart defects detected and this was the highlighted issue. The VSD (Hole in the heart) Double Outlet Right Ventricle (Pulmonary artery has shifted and formed in the right ventricle when it's supposed to be in the left ventricle) Tetralogy of Fallot (a narrowing or underdeveloped pulmonary Artery) The doctors explained if not for the VSD the other defects may not have occurred. However, right now the VSD is assisting with keeping the blood circulating in the baby's body. The baby will be born at HSC and within the first week, the baby will need to be flown to Edmonton for surgery. In doing so my brother and his wife will have to fly to Edmonton for a minimum stay of 2 months. Which means they will be absent from work and will not have any form of income. I am hoping to reach out for help to alleviate some of that stress for them by providing them with the funds to support their family in their time of need. They will also need to take their other two young children with them as no other care can be provided while they deal with this family emergency, which only compounds the issue and financial burden.
