Hello, My name is Keturah, and I am fundraising for another Keturah. Keturah has been a pleasant diligent friend of mine for 10 years now. We met in a Keturah group long ago. She has always been ready with a sympathetic encouraging word, an industrious story, and a nudge in a positive direction. She’s also been open about some of the scary things in her life. Native to Zimbabwe she has been violently handled, and she and her little boy were recently expelled from there home in South Africa under threat of death. For the past few years Keturah has been working to immigrate on a work visa submitting applications, filling out paperwork, and even taking the appropriate training and certification to be a nursing caregiver for the elderly. Keturah has come to me with completed CSV/resume and cover letters, and I have worked with her to fit the culture and fine tune her English which is very good already. At last, she has found a place in Canada that will take her and her son in. She’s filled out the paperwork, sold off most of her things, and saved half of the money required for travel and starting out in a new country. Please, will you help this determined, industrious woman be ready to start a new life, in a new country for her and her son?
