My Sister, a Blessing in my life. So many of you know Kelly and how big her heart is. She truly loves without conditions. She has faced so many devastating things in this life. Really hard times. When I sit down and think about them all, it’s overwhelming. But God. He has been faithful to bring her through them all. As many of you know, she was diagnosed with uterine cancer in March. It was detected early as Stage 1. In addition to hormone therapy, she had a procedure that would routinely eliminate the cancer. Soon after, the doctors discovered that the procedure was not only unsuccessful, but the cancer had spread throughout several reproductive organs changing it to Stage 3. There were additional scans done last week to see if the cancer had spread to her chest and abdomen. We are thankful for the good report that the cancer had not spread to those areas. Kelly is currently in surgery having a radical hysterectomy. After surgery, Pathology will complete further testing. Along with her Oncologist, they will determine her path of treatment. This past month, she has also been treatment for a degenerative dental bone disease from two previous surgeries. She will have to postpone that treatment for now and continue after this surgery. Kelly is physically going though a lot but is also completely heartbroken. This Go Fund Me was set up because I want her to have something good coming out of surgery. She needs it. I’ve watched her struggle along as she works so hard every single day. She has been strong for so long. I just want to hold her arms up and give her some rest and try to lighten the large financial burden ahead of her. We are trusting the Great Physician to guide the hands of the doctor, and give him and all the staff wisdom. We are asking God to heal Kelly and specifically that the cancer is contained and she will be completely healed with this surgery. Please help us pray. And the LORD, he it is that doth go before thee; he will be with thee, he will not fail thee, neither forsake thee: fear not, neither be dismayed. Deuteronomy 31:8 KJV
