On July 8th, our friend Kelli who has had a lifelong love of horses was finishing up a nice ride with her horse. She was bringing her back to the barn when the horse reared up. Her horse then slipped and fell back directly on top of her. She was airlifted to Strong Memorial Hospital via the amazing life-saving team from Mercy Flight where she remains in the Intensive Care Unit. Kelli sustained multiple serious injuries from the impact including a crushed pelvis, collapsed lung, damaged spleen and many broken ribs and vertebrae. Kelli’s injuries are serious and will require multiple surgeries in the weeks ahead with a recovery time of 3-6 months. In tough times Kelli is not someone who asks for help. She is a person that helps others. It’s just her nature. So her tribe has come together to ask on behalf of our kind, generous, beautiful and amazing friends for any kind of support that you can give and return the kindness to her as she so deserves! This LFEBridge page has been created by friends of Kelli and Kevin to assist Kevin, the kids and Kelli during her long road to recovery.
