Keep Isis and Akari Vado Safe Hi Family, TO FILL YOU ALL IN... As many of us are aware, Alberto Vado and Julia Yee ended their 10+ year relationship after years of manipulation, mental and physical abuse by Julia. Following the separation, Isis and Akari have (willingly) lived with Berd, at the Ochoa household, safely and happily since the separation over 2 years ago until recently, due to a series of disturbing events. These events include but are not limited to her mistreatment of the legal system to try to implicate Alberto for the abuses she perpetrated, in addition to her utilization of her daughters as collateral in her emotional warfare; She recently abducted Akari from Berd's custody under the guise of a sleepover and fled the state, concealing Akari for nearly a month, and spending her time placing disturbing phonecalls to mutual contacts as well as multiple members of our family. She has also recently tried to slander Uncle Paco, as well as Mary. These are just the minor examples of how she has taken advantage of Alberto's desire to give her the benefit of the doubt in the hopes that she'd attempt to be a loving and productive part of her daughters' lives. Unfortunately, Julia's history of documented parental negligence, documented domestic violence (against Berd), documented emotional abuse against both of her daughters, attempted manipulation of all those she comes into contact with, and history of illicit substance abuse have now made it impossible for Berd not to fight for the safety of his daughters. OUR GOAL... Berd is in the process of formally obtaining full and legal custody of both Isis and Akari. There is no question anymore that both girls need the stability, safety, and consistency in their lives that Alberto can and has provided along with Auntie Cynthia, Uncle Paco, Ciana, and our immediate family. There is no question that when and if Julia chooses to be a part of her daughter's lives, it will need to be on Isis and Akari's terms, as well as monitored for their safety. We have created this fundraiser to help with any legal fees accrued in order to sustain this fight and finally and permanently grant Alberto custody so that he and the girls can finally heal and move on.
