The family of Karen Jones is starting this fundraiser to raise money for her expenses after she recieves a liver transplant. Karen has been battling liver disease since 2018 and has been on the liver transplant list for the past 3 years. She travels back and forth from Emory in Atlanta to receive treatment where she will be having her transplant surgery. As you can imagine this will be a very costly procedure and stay. The money raised through this fundraiser will go toward her medical and home expenses. As well as, toward the expenses for her caretakers to stay at the Mason Guest House during her procedure and recovery. Karen will likely be in Atlanta for recovery for at least a few months and at least one of her caretakers will be there at all times. We hope that we can raise enough money so that she does not have to stress or worry while she takes the time that she needs to make a full recovery. If anyone deserves to be at peace and get healthy it is her. She has worked her whole life and would give the shirt off of her back to anyone in need. We hope that we can come together and do that same thing for her. We appreciate all of your prayers, well wishes, and donations ... big or small!
