Some of you may or may not know my little brother Junior was recently diagnosed with cancer. It has taken quite the toll on my family and I, traveling back and forth from Spokane to Walla. Any and all financial help is greatly appreciated by my family, as it will ease the road to recovery laid out for him. We are hoping to get a more concise diagnosis on what kind of cancer this is. We all want to see Junior doing his favorite things again, lifting, playing basketball, hanging out with his cousins and friends! ❣️ A little back story on what happened. On the morning of June 7th I woke up to Junior screaming in agony. He had been having health issues for the last couple of the months. Nerve pain that started from his lower back to all through out his left leg, he had been in a car accident in February and was going to physical therapy regularly. On June 7th he broke his femur bone while in bed. He was rushed to hospital where doctor thought he had just dislocated his hip, after the x-rays the doctor came up to me announcing that the most likely explanation on how it was possible that he could have broken one of the biggest and hardest to break bones in his body was cancer. He was immediately airlifted to Spokane where he went into emergency surgery. 1 plate and 9 screws later his femur bone was back together but the question was whether or not it was cancer that had caused this. Multiple test and scans came back concluding that it was indeed cancer. A couple weeks later we found that there were other clusters of cancer in his ribs and near his groin. Fast forward to now 6 weeks later, doctors are still unsure what type of cancer it is. We were told by the doctors that there is a conference held every year where all the cancer specialist from around the country meet up they Are all allowed to bring one case to share. Juniors case was sent to a specialist in seattle that was invited to that conference, he picked his. So 100 or so cancer specialist have taken a peek at his case and everyone is still unsure on what kind of cancer this is. Junior has started his first rounds of chemo, we have a long journey ahead of us but we are all optimistic. He is strong and will get through this.
