Dear friends, we have some heartbreaking news to share. Our brother and friend Joe Futch was diagnosed with end-stage 4 metastastisic cancer two months ago. Unfortunately, with the aggressive progression of the disease, Joe has been hospitalized and is not expected to be with us for much longer. Insurance has already been maxed out in just 7 short weeks, and with Joe being the sole provider for the family, Joe and Betty really need our help to pay for uncovered medical expenses and to stay on top of household expenses during Joe's last days with us. Even as I write this, and Joe is in hospice care in hospital, we are being hosted at their home along with 16 of our baja rescue dogs, and we will be back later this month with another group up for adoption. Please help us help these extremely kind and generous friends who have done so much for so many people, and so much for the animals we love so much too. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
