To know my son Jeremy is to love him. He has the biggest heart, is generous, kind and hard-working. He loves everyone equally and people love him in return. He was voted peoples-choice favorite bartender in Tampa Bay several years in a row. When Covid hit and the bar closed down, Jeremy didn't draw unemployment - he instead went to work as a personal shopper with Shipt. His Shipt customers love him as much as his bar customers did. He will drive to multiple stores to find the right baby formula if it's unavailable at the store from which they ordered, will take gifts to customers who are having a birthday or are unwell, and commits random acts of kindness simply because that's who he is. When his friend, Keith, passed away, Jeremy and friends coordinated an event that raised money for the Moffitt Cancer Center. Jeremy was involved in a bad scooter accident the night of July 4th. He had regained consciousness by the time the ambulance arrived and, thankfully, his CT scan was clear and showed no sign of brain hemorrhage. However, he has a bad break at the head of his upper arm. A big chunk is broken off of the ball that goes into his shoulder socket. He will have to have surgery and have a cadaver bone graft done. Recovery and physical therapy will take months. His insurance covers only a small portion of the cost and his out-of-pocket costs will exceed $20,000. He will also be out of work with no income for months. Please consider helping if you can. Any amount is greatly appreciated. Any leftover amount will be donated to Moffitt Cancer Center.
